To prepare a stronger cider, you can add brewer's yeast to the whole. In this case, you should mix half a cup of cider with a packet of yeast, beat well and let it rest for 5 to 6 hours. This preparation is included in the juice extracted at the time of packaging.

INGREDIENTS

2 green apples
2 red apples
2 yellow apples
1 orange
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 cup of maple syrup
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
10 cups of water

INSTRUCTIONS

Wash the apples and the orange and cut them into four pieces. Put them in a pot along with the rest of the ingredients and cover them with water.

Put the heat on high and when it starts to boil, cover the pot and cook over medium heat for one or two hours. It is important that the liquid does not boil, but it must also be kept for a long time on the fire to remove all impurities from the apple juice. If you cook it for longer it will have more flavor. Strain the apple cider trying to get as much liquid or juice as possible from the fruit.

Serve the cider hot.
